cheeseland!

we traded one snowy city for another this weekend and enjoyed milwaukee! we stayed at an awesome hotel, aloft, in downtown milwaukee.  we felt way too uncool to be there.  very euro-clubby...  the room was luxurious and the rainshower was just perfect for our achy-from-shoveling backs.  we lounged in bed, explored the city, went out for fun lunches and dinner.  we went on a long walk to the milwaukee art museum, which is pretty lovely and impressive for a small city.  we had a yummy lunch at the water street brewery, where dan had a beer sampler, YUM!  we went out to eat at a fun, slow-cook/cozy organic food diner.  delicious!  it was just what the doctor ordered, after a month of still not adjusting to night shift...  it's been rough.  this weekend was a fantastic way to stay present, relax, rejuvenate and meditate on our abundant blessings.
